ProzTopUp respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register, we collect your full name, email address, and phone number. A password hash is stored — we never store your plain-text password.

Transaction Information: We record details of every transaction you perform (amount, type, recipient, timestamp) for record-keeping and dispute resolution.

Device Information: We may collect basic device information (browser type, operating system) to improve our service and troubleshoot issues.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to process transactions, maintain your account, provide customer support, detect and prevent fraud, and send essential service notifications (e.g., transaction confirmations, password resets). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Payment Data

All payment processing is handled by Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We do not collect, store, or process your card number, CVV, or bank account details. Paystack's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3). We use industry-standard security practices including database encryption, secure password hashing (bcrypt), and regular security audits. Despite these measures, no online service is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Transaction records are retained for a minimum of 3 years for legal and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session management) and security. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third parties:

• Paystack — payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
• NextAuth — authentication management
• Neon (PostgreSQL) — database hosting (SOC 2 compliant)
• Vercel — hosting and CDN

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may export your transaction history at any time. To exercise these rights, contact support or use the account settings page.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification.
